Adult course

Learning French as an adult is not the same as learning as a child. Our adult programs are designed with the specific needs, motivations, and life experiences of mature learners in mind. The focus is on practical communication, confidence-building, and making the most of a short but intensive stay on the Riviera.

Focus on verbal skills - Even beginners are encouraged to speak from day one. Grammar takes a back seat to communication and confidence in real-life situations.

Self-directed learning - Adult students bring their own goals, interests, and learning styles. Our teachers provide space, guidance, and support rather than control — allowing learners to shape their own progress.

Drawing on life experience - Every adult brings a wealth of personal and professional knowledge. Teachers use these experiences as resources to enrich discussions and make learning authentic and meaningful.

Relevant and problem-centered - Lessons focus on practical needs: everyday communication, career-related skills, or social interaction. The emphasis is on solving real-life problems rather than abstract topics.

Motivation and confidence - Returning to the classroom can feel intimidating at first, but our teachers create a supportive environment that encourages motivation, lowers inhibitions, and helps students grow in confidence day by day.

Course Overview

Duration: 2, 3 or 4 weeks

Schedule: 4 hrs/day, 20 lessons/week (Monday–Friday)

Teaching team: Two experienced teachers per group

Group size: Max. 8 students in the morning

Lesson focus

Structured language foundations in small groups, combined with interactive practice.

Lessons are entirely devoted to spoken French, building fluency, idioms, and spontaneity, while helping students gain confidence and natural oral expression.
